Gear 6 / Violin Memory

Gear6 (acquired by Violin Memory in 2010) made flash-memory server appliances with up to 84 separate, removable circuit boards inside.  Tolerances were so tight that if the appliance was open for more than 3 minutes, circuits would start to overheat and break down.

I created visualization interfaces for Gear6 / Violin which allowed admins to remotely configure and monitor these incredibly complex machines.
